Cutler and Gross
Cutler and Gross has never chased the logo. Founded in London in 1969 by opticians Graham Cutler and Tony Gross, the house built its name on hand-finished acetate frames designed to be worn for decades, not seasons — the choice of people who want their eyewear to look considered rather than branded.
Every frame is still hand-cut and polished from Italian acetate, with the brand's signature keyhole bridges, thick rims, and restrained round and square silhouettes. There's no loud hardware, no obvious logo — the quality is meant to speak from arm's length, not from a monogram.
At Turakhia Optics, our Cutler and Gross edit spans classic tortoiseshell and solid acetate frames in both optical and sun styles, sourced as 100% authentic pieces with full manufacturer warranty. Every pair ships with the original case and can be fitted with prescription lenses in-store or via WhatsApp.
